2025 SEASON FUNDRAISER
MegaHurtz Robotics through a partnership with Lake Michigan STEAMWORKS is an independently funded robotics team for students in Buchanan and surrounding communities. Our mentors and volunteers freely give their time and expertise to support and instruct our students.
MEGAHURTZ QUALIFIED FOR STATE BUT COULDN'T AFFORD TO GO
Through the support of our community and the amazing effort of our students, we took 2nd place at our first district
event and 3rd place in our second event. There were 514 robotics teams in the 2024 season and MegaHurtz earned a
place in the State Championships ranked at 161. That is an incredible accomplishment for a small, rural team.
Unfortunately, going to states costs an additional $6000 that the team simply didn’t have and so was not able to go.
